I am a HUGE fan of Chad Eaton’s artwork and T-shirts Called…
This wooden bowl is from the thrift store, the blue fabric is an old skirt I got for 50 cents at the thrift store as well…. I thought it would look nice to line the bowl with the fabric and leave the outside wood natural and not paint it. You can’t eat out of this bowl, or use it for food, but it would be perfect for a jewelry or junk dish on your night stand.
Trace around the bowl so you get the right size, you may have to trim a little so it fits below the ridge of the bowl. Be sure to cut 4 slits in the circle as seen below, so your circle fits, it not it will bunch up.
Be sure to place mod podge on the back of the fabric where and do the slits, before coating the top, make sure the bottom is secure.
After letting it dry for a day, it gets nice and dark…. turned out pretty cool!
